The temporary exhibition Indigenous Liberators tells the story of the Native American, Canadian First Nation and Métis soldiers who took part in the liberation of the Netherlands in 1944 and 1945. They volunteered in large numbers during World War Two and were involved in every part of the Liberation of the Netherlands, yet until now their stories have rarely been told. The exhibition Indigenous Liberators uses personal accounts, objects, and unique interviews to bring their experiences to life. Produced by dr. Mathilde Roza of the Radboud University with support from the Freedom Museum. On display from 2 May until 30 November 2025.
