The Freedom Museum will be closed on 1 January (New Year’s Day), on 5 July (private event) and on 25 December (Christmas Day). Sometimes opening hours can be extended for certain events at the museum. For these occasions please check the website.
Route & Parking
From Nijmegen Central Station you can take city bus 5 to Groesbeek. You can get off at the "De Oude Molen" stop. From this stop it is only a 5 minute walk to the museum. The 350 meter long path is wheelchair accessible and partly follows a bike lane. The Freedom Museum has a large free parking space and there are disabled parking spaces at the main entrance. Buses can let guests off in front of the main entrance of the museum. Busses or coaches can then be parked in the designated parking spaces. In addition, you can park your bicycle at the museum and there is a charging station for electric bicycles.
