Opening hours

Monday - Saturday: 10.00-17.00

Sundays and holidays*: 12.00-17.00

*Including Easter Monday, Whit Monday, Boxing Day, with the exception of Ascension Day during which regular opening hours apply.

The Freedom Museum will be closed on 1 January (New Year’s Day) and on 25 December (Christmas Day). Sometimes opening hours can be extended for certain events at the museum. For these occasions please check the website.

Marvelous museum. Unique in the Netherlands. A special approach to the narrative of freedom, with focus on the 2nd World War. The collection is rich, the texts are really valuable and totally 3-lingual (Dutch, German and English). Finally, the Architecture is one of a kind. The only tensed dome in the World, where the air pressure inside the building is different from the outside, keeping the structure 'alive' in a very unique way.
