Liberation Day 5 May

On 5 May, we celebrate 79 years of Liberation, in and around the Freedom Museum in Groesbeek. From 10:00 to 17:00 there will be a festive programme:

• Open guided tours (also especially for children) of the highlights in the permanent exhibition (Dutch)
• Grateful Generation Tours will drive you around in an authentic 1942 Willy's Jeep (€11 p.p.)
• Live music performances by duo William Smulders & Lieke Grey and Fons Jas
• Freedom lunch will be served*
• Pavement chalk drawing about freedom
• Gerrit Kok draws playful cartoons
• Kiko the Clown folds balloons
• Temporary exhibition Double Agent can be visited until 5 May

*Registration is required. This can be done via Freedom Lunch at the Freedom Museum | Sunday 5 May 2024 | Gelderland Zuid Library (op-shop.nl)

Entrance festival & museum: €8.00 (€3.00 for children up to 17 years old)

Children up to 6 years free. Museum card is valid. Other discounts/promotions are not valid on this day, discount on discount is not possible.
