The Freedom Museum in Groesbeek is a fascinating museum for young and old. After a short introduction upon arrival, you will go through the permanent and temporary exhibition of the museum on your own. You can also use the beautifully situated museum café and the giftshop.

It is not possible to pay with cash. We only accept debit cards and credit cards.

The main focus of this museum is how you lose your freedom, what it costs to keep your freedom and even how hard it is in our time to be free. There is a parking lot next to the museum. You start after the film with the history of 4 people from the neighborhood followed by the history of WW2 in the Netherlands, all focused on the loss of freedom and regaining freedom. The temporary exhibition was about the black triangle that antisocial people had to wear during the German occupation.
